Boston Moving Company

If your goal is finding the best Boston moving company for your move, I can help you.  All others can quickly navigate away from this post or keep reading - I won't judge.  Frankly, Boston movers -like most Boston people are fairly creative and business-savvy - some a little too savvy ( aka. SCAM artists).  Here is my list of the best freaking advice you need when hiring a Boston Moving Company.

1. Five of the top 10 Boston Moving Companies that you see on a search are all the same company but operating under a different name.  Don't believe me?  Give them a call - they all sound the same ummmm because they are.  Why should you pass on these guys besides they scammed you at hello?  Most of them dissolve and re-open moving businesses when their claims and bad reviews start catching up with them.

2.  Don't hire any Boston Moving Company that picks up the phone and answers "movers," "moving company," or anything mumbled that you cannot clearly understand followed by the word movers or moving.  These people are usually hiding from the DOT, IRS, pissed off customers or worse.

3. Moving brokers are not your friends.   Moving brokers are essentially people who get Boston Moving Company leads any way they can and then book a moving job with the intention of selling it to the lowest bidding Boston Moving Company that will bite.  I wouldn't even hire a mover who is affiliated with moving brokers at all.  The service is usually compromised after an average of 30% is transferred to the broker ( usually in the form of a deposit ).  And if the movers don't show up? You get your deposit back but now you need to find a last minute Boston Moving Company.

4.  Boston Moving Company reviews aren't always 100% true but usually can paint a pretty decent picture of the service.  There are great Boston Moving Company reviews sites available, and then there is yelp.  Yelp can be manipulated but I find that checking the filtered reviews will give a good idea of the reputation of the Boston moving company.

5.  There are a few needle in the haystack Boston Moving Companies that provide a professional service.   Some things that you can ask you Boston Mover to make sure they rock:

Do you have full time labor?  Are they CORI checked?
Do you operate using your own trucks?
Do you offer full replacement coverage?
Do you perform last minute and full packing services?

There is one Boston Moving Company that really goes above and beyond for their customers and community alike.  You cannot go wrong choosing Monster Movers for your Boston move!
